If the statistics are boring, you’ve got the wrong numbers.

WHO WE ARE!

The Gender Data Balkans portal serves and supports the gender equality community by making reliable gender relevant public data easily available, regularly updated and clustered in one place. The portal facilitates public gender data transparency, visibility and dissemination.

Gender Data Balkans is a place for learning and dissemination of gender data in user friendly formats and easy to understand infographics, reports, graphs and animations. It helps to build a broad understanding of the trends and figures behind gender stereotypes. It sheds the light on social, cultural, economic and financial factors that induce gender bias in the data. It allows for easy comparisons between Balkan countries and for individual countries over time.

Gender Data Balkans is your advocacy tool for gender responsive data systems development in Balkan countries.

“Without data you’re just another person with an opinion.”

Edwards Deming, Statistician
